An intriguing blend of Scotch, boiling water, and powdered sugar, the Blue Blazer gets its incendiary name from the way it's presented: ablaze! The Blue Blazer is said to be the first flambéed cocktail, and this year it celebrates its 155th anniversary. Specifically, the drink is prepared using two large containers, between which the flame is passed.
The Montegrappa Blazer pen is a variation of the iconic Fortuna model, with all its components, appropriately, crafted from polished steel burned with an open flame. The surface shimmers in iridescent hues, just like heat-tempered metal.
The pen is available as a fountain pen, rollerball pen, and ballpoint pen. The fountain pen's nib is made of steel, engraved with Montegrappa's signature filigree, and comes in Fine, Medium, and Broad writing grades. It can be powered by either a converter or cartridge.
